First Day on Maestrea!

Hello and welcome to your new adventure on Maestrea!

So it's tour first day on our towny server? Well let's get started!

First tihng to know is there are 3 servers linked together to form Towny. They are as follows:

Maestrea - The main and oldest towny world

Elyssia - A newer but smaller towny world

Resource - Includes an overworld, nether, and end world for getting resources

Which world you join has little impact at this point.

Once you're on a towny world go ahead and take a look at jobs. To view all the jobs available to the server use the command /jobs browse

To join a job use: /jobs join (job name)

When you first join, you can have up to 2 jobs, and you are able to get more jobs as you level up your ranks. Your third job can be obtained at the rank “Squire” and your fourth job slot at rank “Sage”. You can get even more job slots as you rank up through Prestige ranks!

Once you've joined some ojbs to make money you'll want to look into ranking up. To do so use /rankup. Ranks get more expensive as you get further along so be sure to keep leveling those jobs as well!

After joining jobs you have another decision to make:

1. Join a town to store your stuff or
2. Start saving up money to buy your own town

Should you choose the second option, it is ok to have a house built in the wild, just make sure to set a home there using /sethome (name)

Note: Player builds in the wilderness are subject to griefing so it's best to join or make a town as soon as possible

To make that town you'll need to get up to Traveler Rank and spend 5k creating your town. Be sure to find the location before creating your town as it claims the area you are standing in.

Once you're ready /t new (name) will create your town! Towns cannot be created on resource, so be sure you're on Maestrea or Elyssia before scouting a location.
