A Beginner's Guide to Custom Items!

So you've made it through the first stages of the server. You've found a town, joined jobs, and started making some money to rank up! But what are all these items you've found in the mean time? What do you do with them and how do you get more?

There are several types of keys you've likely encountered by now. Vote keys, common keys, uncommon keys, etc. These keys are used to open special crates for loot! All the crates are found at /crates in spawn. Each crate has it's own set of items it can give and varying chances at each item. For a closer look at them chech out the crates page.

Vote keys can be gotten by voting for the server on the advertised vote pages! Other keys can be gotten through the daily/weekly rewards chest, the daily reward in spawn, bought from the shady trader (more about him on his page)

These are the most basic of the custom items. You will likely encounter a great many of them. All 3 are used in some crafting recipes. Other than recipes, crystals can be used at the crystal merchant in spawn (check him out on the crystal merchant page), Soul gems can be used to craft the Soulless Title in /ccraft (or the custom craft at spawn), and Light Dust can be consumed for a temporary haste buff.

So that seems like alot of words there. But it's not as confusing as it sounds. Shattered Fragments are used to craft Fragments which are then used to craft Relics. Same for entropy fragments to entropy shards to arcanas (see below for arcana and relic explanation).

Relics and Arcanas are the primary source of mid-high tier gear for towny. Opening a relic or arcana will give you an item of that tier. These can be armor pieces, weapons, tools, off hands, or charms (For a more in depth explanation see the Relics and Arcanas Page).
